Woodturners by Bill Robinson

Fine quality crafts from The Lake District

Gallery

All the items chosen for the gallery represent the majority of my (polychromatic assembly for) segmented woodturnings dating from around 2001 to the present day. I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I did producing them.

Most of the pieces I make are precisely cut from many different coloured woods and then glued together into various shapes. These shapes are then glued together in different ways to form the intricate patterns, which sometimes contain hundreds of pieces.
Some of the items I have made have been inspired by the many fantastic designs I have come across on the Internet and from various woodturning books. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the many woodturners whose ideas have motivated me to create some of my pieces.

The Miscellaneous gallery consists of mainly one-piece turnings that I have created over the past 25 years. The wide variety of pieces in this gallery range from pieces of turned 'fruit' to ornamental clocks and includes some of my oldest pieces.

If anyone one would like to buy one of my pieces that has been marked 'FOR SALE', please get in touch using my Contact page and state the Item Number you are interested in. I will then give you a price for the item and how I would like to receive payment for it.
For any of items that have been noted as not for sale, e.g. SOLD, PRIVATE COLLECTION or otherwise, a similar piece can be commissioned. Again, please use the contact page to get in touch.
